Privacy policy

This explains what printnflow collects when you print with us, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

The document you send us

Your file is stored only for as long as it takes to print it.

• Printed successfully: the file is deleted as soon as the printer confirms the job is finished.
• Failed to print: kept for 24 hours so staff can retry it, then deleted.
• Uploaded and never printed: deleted after 72 hours, and any payment held against it is released.

We keep a record about the job after the file is gone — the filename, page count, settings and what you paid — because that is your receipt and our accounting record. We do not keep the contents.

Nobody at the shop opens your document to check it. Page counts and previews are produced automatically.

Your account

We store your name, email address, username and a one-way hash of your password — never the password itself. If you sign in with Google we store the account identifier Google gives us, not your Google password. We also keep the times you signed in, so we can spot someone else trying to.

Guest accounts made at the counter expire after 4 hours.

Payments

Payments are handled by Razorpay. Your card or UPI details go to them directly and never reach our server — we receive the order reference, the amount, whether it succeeded, and the phone number you entered on their payment form. Razorpay's own privacy policy covers what they hold.

We keep that phone number so we can reach you if something you paid for did not print. It is deleted along with the rest of a guest's details when the guest account is closed.

What we never do

• We do not sell or rent your information to anyone.
• We do not use your documents for anything except printing them.
• We do not send marketing email unless you ask us to.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete your account and its history. Ask at the counter or contact us below. We will respond within 30 days.

Some records have to be kept even after you close an account — payment and tax records, for as long as the law requires.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. Access to the shop's admin screens is restricted to staff accounts, and every change staff make to a customer record is logged with who made it.

If we ever discover a breach affecting your information, we will tell you and the relevant authority as required under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
